For Notarization of Power of Attorney and Affidavit Applicant must come in person alongwith Pakistan's National Identity Card/ Passport and sign in presence of Consular Officer. Machine Readable Passport The Government of Pakistan has decided that Manual Passports will not be issued /extended beyond July 31,2012 by the Consulate General of Pakistan New York. All Pakistani national are requested to kindly obtain Machine Readable Passport (MRP) before july 31,2012. Kindly note that M.R.P is not issued without a Valid NICOP or CNIC. Pakistan Nationals holding valid NICOP or CNIC must apply for Machine Readable Passport and not for Manual Passport.
